digitaleslernen.org - learning tools, workshops and automations

Ideas, digitised and built. They support and extend what happens in class.

From an idea to a finished app.

You have the ideas - we help you make them real.

  1. 01

    Idea

Ideas for digital teaching and learning tools are born in the classroom: from needs, conversations and real situations. Often all that is missing is the time or the technology to build them.

  2. 02

    Technology

We know today's digital tools and use them to turn requirements into apps, automations and interactive teaching materials.

  3. 03

    Together

Together we reach the goal faster and save time and energy: from the first sketch to the finished tool in the classroom.

Five stations, one path: how a thought in the classroom becomes a tool for everyone.

  1. 01 · Reception

    Arrive.

Tell us your idea - we listen and show you what is possible.

  2. 02 · Lab

    Explore.

We check, mix and test: which technology fits your idea?

  3. 03 · Creative Lab

    Design.

Sketches become drafts: language, images and flows for the classroom.

  4. 04 · Workshop

    Build.

This is where it gets built, adjusted and refined - until it all runs smoothly.

  5. 05 · Production

    Ship.

The finished app goes into the classroom - ready for every learner.

Questions & answers

  • What does developing an application cost?

It depends on how complex the application is and whether it is public or private. An application that needs no infrastructure such as a database, login or user management is usually free to develop.

  • What about data protection?

Most applications are self-contained web apps that work without an internet connection and therefore neither collect nor send any data. For more complex applications that need to talk to a server or database, no personal data is stored.

  • How long does development take?

Simple applications are usually ready within a few days. The more precisely the requirements are described, the fewer iterations are needed to reach a satisfying product.

  • Can existing teaching materials be digitised?

That depends heavily on copyright. We believe, however, that digitising analogue material often fails to make use of what these technologies can do. That is why we focus on new, innovative ideas that add real value and use the potential of digital tools.
